When spreads thy cloak of shimm'ring white. At winter's stern command. Thru shortened day and star-lit night. We love thee, frozen land. We love thee. We love thee. We love thee frozen land.
When blinding storms gusts fret they shore. And wild waves lash they strand. Thru spindrift swirl and tempest roar. We love thee, wind swept land. We love thee. We love thee. We love thee, wind swept land.

My children and grandchildren. I love to cook, collect recipes, knit, crochet, gardening, preserving, making homemade wines. Visiting with my friends at the Round Table Forums. I hope I have made this site interesting to anyone who enjoys cooking. I started with Newfoundland recipes, but I have many others. I also have recipes for Wild game, if there are any hunters in your family. If there is a recipe you would like to see, please leave me a message in my guestbook. If I have it or can find it, I will add it to the others and E-mail you a copy if requested. I would like to dedicate this site to the lady who raised me from the age of three days.(My Mom, legally my aunt Vida). She insisted I learn to cook at age ten, she said everyone, even her son needed to know how to cook. She was right. I enjoy baking, most of all. But I do enjoy coming up with new ideas for meals. But mostly lately I have enjoyed making up new recipes for jams and jellies, pickles and relishes, and especially homemade wines. Please take the time to look it all over, then comment on it.
