My children and grandchildren. I love to cook, collect recipes, knit, crochet, gardening, preserving, making homemade wines. Visiting with my friends at the Round Table Forums.
I hope I have made this site interesting to anyone who enjoys cooking. I started with Newfoundland recipes, but I have many others. I also have recipes for Wild game, if there are any hunters in your family. If there is a recipe you would like to see, please leave me a message in my guestbook. If I have it or can find it, I will add it to the others and E-mail you a copy if requested. I would like to dedicate this site to the lady who raised me from the age of three days.(My Mom, legally my aunt Vida). She insisted I learn to cook at age ten, she said everyone, even her son needed to know how to cook. She was right. I enjoy baking, most of all. But I do enjoy coming up with new ideas for meals. But mostly lately I have enjoyed making up new recipes for jams and jellies, pickles and relishes, and especially homemade wines.
